Meet Katie

I’m Katie, the photographer behind DaisyBell Photography, and I married my best friend and soulmate Jonny at Eaves Hall in June 2016, a place that means so much to me, as my parents were married there in 1976, one of the very first weddings ever held at the venue, exactly 40 years before mine. So I truly understand just how emotional and special a wedding day feels.

DaisyBell Photography is named after my two pups, Bella and Daisy. Daisy sadly passed away in 2024 at the age of 15 and left the biggest space behind, but she remains forever part of my story and the heart behind the brand. Bella is now 18, a wonderfully grumpy old lady who I love endlessly and who insists on sitting as close to me as possible while I edit your beautiful galleries, and you may still spot both girls gently woven into my website.

I’m based in Clitheroe, Lancashire, but I travel across the UK to photograph weddings in beautiful locations, from elegant country houses to luxury celebrations across the North West and beyond. 

With over eight years of experience and more than 300 weddings photographed, I bring a calm, confident and reassuring presence to every wedding day, knowing how to anticipate every scenario before it even happens.

Couples often tell me they feel completely relaxed, looked after and able to be themselves in front of my camera, even if they usually hate having their photo taken. I have a natural way of getting the very best out of people without them even realising, using a few gentle prompts here and there to create relaxed, natural and beautifully authentic moments. I am known for being calm when things get busy, quick on my feet when plans change, and quietly capturing moments before anyone else even realises they are happening.

My editing style is true to tone with a touch of enhancement, with a love for warmth in my edits, keeping colours natural, skin tones beautiful and imagery timeless. I carefully curate and hand edit every gallery to tell the full story of your day, from the big emotional moments to the quiet ones you may have missed, creating images that feel fresh, modern and full of life while still standing the test of time. 

With a background in Design, I blend relaxed storytelling with high energy, fun imagery and an editorial twist.

My approach is calm, intuitive and quietly supportive. I am there to guide when needed, step back when not, fix dresses, calm nerves, keep timelines flowing and make sure you feel completely at ease. This allows you to fully enjoy your day while every moment, emotion and detail is thoughtfully and beautifully captured.
